Step 1. Determine Agenda Topics
Understand Strategic Drivers impacting the business and the industry as a whole, then determine the most strategic decisions that need to be made in the next 12 months. These typically fall into the following categories: prioritizing key initiatives, allocating budget and people resources, solving a challenging cross-functional issue, identifying new business opportunities.
Step 2. Plan Agenda Sessions
Gather and analyze available data to support the decision making process, determine the different business operating scenarios, build a facilitation plan to enable group input and achieve consensus. Prepare a briefing pack for all executives to read in advance of the meeting and prepare their thoughts in advance.
Step 3. Facilitate Strategic Executive Offsite meeting
Manage the meeting to the agreed agenda using advanced facilitation methods such as ideation, brainstorming, voting, and strategic gaming. Create visualizations using flipcharts and large white boards to bring the topic to life through info-graphics and create a permanent visual of the discussion to refer back to.
Step 4: Meeting Analysis & Report
Create a complete report of the meeting including key decisions, future topics for analysis and agreed next steps, with roles and responsibilities.
How we work with clients:
We work with clients 60-90 days prior to the executive meeting, through weekly project team calls, leading into one-on-one sessions with each agenda topic owner to help prepare your executives and coach them leading up to the executive offsite meeting. We are onsite during the meeting as professional facilitators to enable your executive team to make better decisions faster, increasing the ROI of the overall meeting. Post-meeting we are responsible for preparing the meeting report and creating a system to help you track and monitor the results of the decisions made at the strategic offsite meeting.
